Primary enjoyed a rambling meander on the Bromyard Downs
visiting a variety of settings on a loop around the top of a hill.
The views were spectacular, stretching through to Hay Bluff on the west side
and the Clent Hills to the east.
The class first made their way through the dense canopy of Warren wood
where they found an old swing which they took turns to challenge each other to go higher
and further.
After leaving the woodland, the path led out onto some open farmland. The class were followed along by a herd of black Dexter calves. This caused a great deal of mirth within the group. The class were then showed how to offer some grass to the calves and with a little patience they soon had them "eating out of their hands" which was a novel experience for them all.
The whole session was a revelation for the class, to be able to interact with and see the care and welfare of farm animals in a rural setting.
